Puppy Raising

Of course raising a puppy is a joy and so much fun, but it can also be challenging when things don’t go to plan.

Having a clear understanding of the importance of the early developmental stages of a pup and maximising the benefits of appropriate socialisation is key. It is important to allow pups fun, downtime, stimulation and the chance to develop their social skills and relationships positively.

This applies to individual pups and collectively to all pups in a litter, and for large programmes, multiple litters will need a planned and structured approach to ensure they thrive and their health and wellbeing is safeguarded. Any structured plans will need adaptation according to each and every individual pup’s progress
